Our History
The Vineyard City Church of Redding was founded by Mike Cramer in the mid 1980’s. In the early 1990’s, Mark Beylik took over for the next 12 years and pastored a wonderful community until in 1997, following an amazing time of renewal, Mark passed the baton to Mike & Nancy Kerns. Mike and Nancy poured themselves into Redding for 15 years, and sent out 3 church plants and multiple overseas workers. In January of 2013, Kyle Stevens and Sean McMasters were given the honor of leading this great community together, which transitioned once more in 2019 as Sean took solo lead at the helm.
Through these varying seasons of the church, and even through a global pandemic, we have witnessed God continue to work in our midst, and we are looking forward with great anticipation to what God has in store for us. The Vineyard City Church of Redding exists simply because people in Northern California are loved by God. We desire to be “A Community Devoted to the Person and Purposes of Jesus.” So, come to church with us on a Sunday morning or join us for a Life Group during the week. We look forward to meeting you!
