"The musicians and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang;
"'He is good; His love endures forever'"
Then the temple was filled with a cloud, and the preist could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the Glory of the Lord filled the temple of God."
2 Chronicles 5:13,14

Many churches have different ideas of what worship means. So it can become confusing sometimes trying to define something so intimate and personal. For the VCC Redding, we like to keep things simple. Breaking things down to the core of who we are as people and who God is and what He has done for us. That said, we believe worship to be:

"Worship is the act of freely giving love to God."

The interesting thing that we've found in worship is that as we give our love and praise to God we in turn always get something back. God's character is to bless us, but if we go into worship with an attitude of receiving something the whole thing gets out of balance. It's only as we have a desire to give our love and praise to God that He comes to us and "fills our cups to overflowing"

Our Sunday Morning Service consists of about 30 minutes of worship, led by a solid group of worshippers and musicians. The style of our worship is modern in nature.
