We have been taking short term trips to Mexico since the spring of 2001. A man from our church had fallen in love with the people of  Vicente Guerrero and built a house there. He now leads 3-4 trips a year to this area. Much of the trip is centered around our different connections with local ministries. There are a number of  “ministries”  that are always in need of help so when a large group of willing servants show up, there is work to be done. There is always lots of time to play with and minister to the neighborhood kids.

We are still in the process of discovering how we can partner with some of the local churches in the effort to see God’s Kingdom expand through church planting. We have very close relationship with at least one church at this point and are excited to see where God leads in the coming years.
