About Home Rehab

At Vineyard city Church, we wanted to find a way to make an impact in our community. Being a smaller congregation in a city saturated with churches, it was a bit of a challenge to find something that would set us apart from the various ministries already serving the unsheltered population, providing food for people with low income, or offering prayer. The idea of helping low-income homeowners, those living paycheck to paycheck and without time, financial, or material resources, with general maintenance and repairs around the house. This seemed right up our ally, so we tried out the idea through a couple of pilot projects, which were a great success! 

Our current goal is to complete two Home Rehab projects each year, once in the spring and one in the fall. Beneficiary candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Have low-income
• Own the home you live in
• The property must be your primary residence
