Children’s Ministry

Here at Vineyard, we are committed to our next generation, and we work to make the church community a place where all children can feel welcome, known, and loved.

At our Sunday morning service, we offer a nursery room for 0-to-2-year-olds (with their parent), and Sunday School classes for 2-to-4-year-olds, PreK-to -2nd graders, and 3rd-to-6th graders.  Our youth group (7th-to-12th graders) meets during Sunday School and during the week.

This year we are focusing on showing respect to one another with our words, attitudes, and actions, and studying about the life and teachings of Jesus with the Telling God’s Story curriculum by Peter Enns.  The PreK-to-6th graders are also learning about the nature, scope, and context of the Old and New Testaments through games, songs, and play-acting.

In February, May, August, and November we practice Family Worship Month.  There are no classes past 4 years old, and we enjoy sharing the entire service as a community.

Most importantly, in all that we do we try to love each child as a unique masterpiece of God, and support them as they grow in their understanding of themselves, those around them, and the One who made and loves us all.  We invite you to come and see what it’s all about for yourself!
